Coming from a Hispanic home, Geraldine’s parents tended to over feed their children and not give them proper nutrition, which led her into being an overweight child. She had low self-esteem and wasn’t comfortable with the way she looked, which interfered with her performance in school. At 14 years old she was 5’4, weighting 210 pounds and had high cholesterol. By age 15, Geraldine decided it was time for a change, she was tired of hating what she saw in the mirror.
Once she started exercising, all Geraldine did was cardio because she didn’t know what else do and she wasn’t getting the results she wanted. Almost two years in she was lucky to meet many people who helped her understand the effectiveness of lifting weights and proper dieting. As she was seeing results, she started developing a confidence she had never experienced before. That was the moment Geraldine’s passion for fitness grew. From her own experience grew her desire to wanting to help others. Her daily mission is to ensure to my clients understand that showing up for themselves each day is the most important thing they can do, and she’s here to help you do so!
