Originally from Georgia, Jamie relocated to Philadelphia for a software engineering role. This move brought significant life changes, leading to a period of personal growth and reflection. Over time, she realized her passion lay elsewhere and decided to transition into a more fulfilling career: exercise and well-being.
Jamie’s interest in fitness began at the University of Georgia, where a friend introduced her to the gym and a P.E. soccer class sparked her enthusiasm for movement. As she gained knowledge, she began training friends unfamiliar with the gym environment. Following her desire to change to a more fulfilling career in exercise and well-being, Jamie pursued formal education at the National Personal Training Institute in Montgomery County, earning her diploma and certification. She thrives on staying active and is passionate about helping others improve their lives.
Jamie firmly believes we are often more capable than we realize, with her favorite iconic quote (below) by Ronnie Coleman showing that when you change your mindset and believe in yourself, any challenge can feel manageable.
