Favorite way to get moving: Strength training like powerlifting and calisthenics because it makes me feel more confident. I also like dancing, hiking, and taking walking tours.

Jamie’s love for movement began in her childhood, playing in her neighborhood and on the school playground. Though she didn’t participate in organized sports growing up, she has explored various activities as an adult, including hiking, half-marathons, powerlifting competitions, soccer, and dance performances.

Her love for fitness truly ignited in college when a friend introduced her to the weight room. Initially intimidated by the experienced athletes around her, Jamie gradually gained confidence, improved her mental health, and overcame struggles with body image, feeling stronger and more empowered along the way.

She thrives on making a positive impact in others’ lives, whether it’s with friends, family, or her partner, and is passionate about helping people feel better about themselves. With her background in software engineering, she also understands the challenge of fitting in a workout amid a demanding schedule and is dedicated to finding practical solutions for staying active.
