Kayla grew up in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and, throughout her school years, she immersed herself in various sports, including: track, volleyball, basketball, softball, and wrestling. Each sport presented unique challenges and opportunities for growth, shaping her identity as an athlete. Each athletic endeavor enriched Kayla’s life and taught valuable lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and dedication. Even her foray into the world of wrestling in high school, with its unique blend of skill and strength, added a new dimension to her sporting journey.

However, it was a defining moment during Kayla’s wrestling season that reshaped her perspective on health and fitness. A setback in the form of an injury right before a crucial tournament led her into to the doors of Physical Therapy. This period of rehabilitation was not just about healing the body; it was a profound learning experience that underscored the importance of mindfulness, proper body mechanics, and the interconnectedness of physical and mental well-being.

Simultaneously pursuing a major in Hospitality and Tourism at East Stroudsburg University (ESU), Kayla found herself drawn towards a different path—one that aligned more closely with her newfound passion for health and wellness. A transformative trip to Florida with friends after high school further solidified her bold decision to relocate to the Sunshine State and pursue a double major in Exercise Science and Physical Therapy Assistance program.

Upon settling in Florida, Kayla seized the opportunity to intern part-time with a seasoned Physical Therapist, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in patient care and rehabilitation. Eager to expand her expertise in the realm of fitness and wellness and the transformative power of personalized treatment plans. Kayla simulatineously pursued certification as a Personal Trainer, and equipped herself with the knowledge and skills to empower individuals on their fitness journeys, fostering a holistic approach to health and wellness.

As the global pandemic reshaped our lives and routines, Kayla’s internship was put on hold, prompting a shift in focus towards Personal Training. This transition allowed her to empower individuals to adopt healthy exercise habits, prioritize injury prevention, and cultivate sustainable fitness routines tailored to individual needs that enhance their overall well-being.

The joy of guiding clients to regain their confidence, reconnect with their loved ones through active engagement, and embrace healthier lifestyles has been immeasurable. Beyond the physical transformations, the journey towards well-being has become a source of inspiration and fulfillment, underscoring the transformative power of leading a balanced and healthy life.
