Lyani Matos is a passionate personal trainer, dedicated to helping people move better and live healthier lives. Originally from Boston, she relocated to Orlando a decade ago and is currently diving deeper into her passions by pursuing a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. Though she initially considered a career in architectural design, her love for fitness—and inspiration from her father, who emphasized the importance of movement and nutrition—steered her towards kinesiology.
Lyani believes that movement is a gift and encourages everyone to appreciate the ability to move freely. She continuously seeks new knowledge to enhance her training methods, sharing her insights with clients to help them achieve their fitness goals. Her expertise includes resistance training, calisthenics, and a background in gymnastics and track and field. With five years of gymnastics focused on tumbling and two years of high school track, she brings a well-rounded understanding of body mechanics to her coaching.
Outside the gym, Lyani dreams of traveling the world, immersing herself in different cultures, and exploring diverse cuisines. Whether she’s lifting weights, walking, or mastering new calisthenics moves, Lyani’s ultimate goal is to empower her clients to care for their bodies and enjoy the benefits of lifelong fitness.
