Sam was born in Ecuador and moved to the U.S. in her teens. She’s played one sport or another for her entire life, but really loves basketball and volleyball. Sports have played a huge role in Sam’s life and have shaped her into the person she is today.
After playing collegiate volleyball at Rutgers University, Sam started training in the gym and fell in love with her newfound hobby, eventually pursuing her Personal Training Certification. After grad school, Sam knew that she didn’t want to move away from sports, athletes, or training and found a passion for helping people with Traumatic Brain Injuries to restore their fitness and wellness, so she’s now in school to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy!
Sam’s favorite part of being a personal training is seeing her clients improve both their physical and mental health through exercise and making it a part of their lifestyle – she can’t wait to guide you to do the same!
