Growing up in New England, Sean spent much of his youth playing hockey, lacrosse and skateboarding. He was fortunate to have fantastic parental role models who instilled the value of keeping a healthy body and mind at an early age. Although his time in organized sports lasted only through his high school years, his passion for all things fitness would remain a constant.
Sean would later go on to join the United States Air Force. Through his time in the military he saw the true value of fitness as well as being exposed to some of the premiere trainers and training facilities on the planet. Inspired by knowing he could make a difference in the fitness of the force, Sean volunteered to become a Physical Training Leader and, he eventually became his unit’s Lead Advanced Physical Training Leader a role in which he was responsible for the fitness of over 400 Airmen and Soldiers.
Since leaving the military, Sean has found a new role within an old passion. He regularly trains and competes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as trains some of Philadelphia’s premiere MMA fighters and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitors. Sean also still works with the Veteran, Law Enforcement and First Responder communities to promote fitness and martial arts as a way to overcome the mental stressors that come with careers in those fields.
Sean has worked with clients from all types of backgrounds and at all levels of fitness. A military background does not mean that you will be treated like a trainee at boot camp. It means that, if you work with Sean, you will be working with someone who is able to get the job done regardless of the circumstances.
