Andel goes by Andy (and he is truly fine with either!). He is currently in college pursuing his degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant—which, in simple terms, is all about understanding the mechanics of the human body to help people move with ease, strength, and independence in their day-to-day activities.
Andy has been an athlete for as long as he can remember, growing up playing both soccer and basketball before dedicating himself to strength training. At Klasik Fit, his coaching philosophy is rooted in longevity and purpose. He firmly believes fitness isn’t about lifting the heaviest weight in the room; it’s about proper form, protecting your joints for the long haul, and steadily working toward meaningful goals.
Outside the training floor, Andy is thoughtful, grounded, and easy to talk to. While he tends to steer clear of loud crowds, he loves a good conversation and can talk for hours if you hit on the right topic. He is almost always listening to music (especially hidden gems and niche tracks), and in his free time, he enjoys staying active with basketball, going on walks, traveling, and exploring local spots around town.
His guiding quote is, “I was hungry by myself and tomorrow came.” To Andy, it’s a reminder that no matter what hurdles or physical setbacks you might be navigating today, tomorrow always brings a fresh start. If you show up and put in the steady work, progress will follow.
He genuinely looks forward to meeting you and partnering with you on your health journey!
