GET TO KNOW YOUR TRAINER

Nathan was born and raised in Austin, TX, and grew up infatuated with sports and fitness, but never fully dived in. For a while, he doubted he could ever start his own fitness journey until a friend invited him to the gym one summer. That summer, he had someone in his corner who pushed him and kept him consistent. Once that friend left for college, Nathan didn’t stop working out. Whether it was at the gym or at home, no matter the ups and downs, he kept at it.

With years of strength training under his belt, he wanted to help his mother regain her strength after years of surgeries. Helping her, and with friends asking for fitness advice, Nathan decided to pursue a certification in personal training and corrective exercise so he could help his loved ones as best he could. With a clear passion for helping others, why limit it to those close to him? He wanted to help anyone who didn’t know where to start, who felt they couldn’t achieve their goals, who wanted to make a change. He wanted to be the person his friend was all those years ago, the person who pushes you and cheers you on. The person who reminds you that you are capable; you are strong.

Outside of training, Nathan enjoys getting out, meeting people, and moving as much as possible. Rock climbing, tennis, and hiking are among his favorite activities out of the house. If there’s a Magic: The Gathering session, board game night, or social gathering, he’ll always be there if he can! But when it’s time to unwind, he can’t go wrong with a good book, a video game, or a fun chat with friends. Or, if it’s time to be productive, he continues his work as a game developer on the side!

Nathan’s top priority is meeting his clients where they are and ensuring they feel heard and understood. Starting a fitness journey can feel daunting, but no matter where you are in life, he believes it’s never too late to make a change. We often tell ourselves that we can’t do something, but always ask ourselves, “Why not?”

" You’re not going to try it, you’re going to do it. "
