GET TO KNOW YOUR TRAINER

For most of his life, Lyle’s identity was shaped by movement. As a dedicated athlete in track and field and a fierce competitor in the boxing ring, he thrived on performance. That is, until his body forced a pause—multiple injuries collided with a fibromyalgia diagnosis, bringing his competitive career to an abrupt stop.

But Lyle isn’t someone who stays down for long. Over the next four years, he immersed himself in corrective exercise, not just studying it but living it. The result? A version of himself that’s stronger, more mobile, and more in tune with his body than ever before. Today, he channels that journey into helping others, guiding clients through pain and into peak performance with a focus on mobility, joint fluidity, and full-range bodyweight movement.

His passion for competition hasn’t dimmed. Lyle is back in the ring, determined to push his boxing as far as he can go. He’s also eyeing judo or another grappling art, eager to expand his combat skillset. And as a tribute to his father, a former NYC marathoner, Lyle hopes to follow in his footsteps—both literally and metaphorically.

Now calling New York City home after a move from Oregon, Lyle brings his passion everywhere—including the kitchen, where he experiments with bold new recipes to a soundtrack of music that’s probably better suited to the gym than the stove. His only real challenge? Keeping his mischievous dog from stealing ingredients before dinner’s done.
