Mary grew up just outside Boston in a big family of eight siblings! While their house was always full of chaos, there was one thing they could all agree on: cheering on their favorite Boston sports teams. Whether it was Tom Brady leading the Patriots or Paul Pierce driving the Celtics, sports were always a huge part of Mary’s life. It wasn’t long before she went from watching sports to wanting to be on the court herself, especially when it came to basketball.

As an athlete her entire life, and unfortunately no stranger to injury, Mary developed a deep appreciation for how the body moves and how important movement is to our overall health and well-being. She brought that passion with her to the University of Maryland, where she studies Kinesiology. As a Division I women’s basketball player and former member of Army ROTC, she was able to strengthen her discipline, work ethic, and commitment to fitness while learning the value of pushing herself both physically and mentally.

Mary’s experiences as an athlete, coach, and healthcare professional have ultimately inspired her to pursue her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Through working with diverse populations and exploring different approaches to fitness and movement, she has discovered how much she enjoys helping others reach goals they once thought were out of reach! Whether that means recovering from an injury, becoming stronger and more confident, or simply feeling better in everyday life, she wants to help people build a healthier relationship with exercise. After all, life is too short for working out to feel like a chore!

As a personal trainer, Mary’s goal is to meet each client where they are. Whether you are exercising for the first time, getting back into a routine after time away, or already committed to fitness and looking to reach the next level, your goals are what matter most to her. She looks forward to getting to know you, creating a plan that works for you, and accompanying you on your own unique health and fitness journey!

" Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen. "

Mary's clients think she’s pretty great.
