GET TO KNOW YOUR TRAINER

Ryan’s fitness journey started his freshman year in high school, when he started playing football and running track. After graduating, he joined the United States Marine Corps. After spending 8 years on active duty, and 2 combat tours to Iraq as an 0331-Light Machine Gunner, Ryan transferred to the Reserves as a 1371-Combat Engineer, where he spent an additional 7 years, and 1 combat tour to Afghanistan.

During this time, he became a full-time, sworn law enforcement officer in the State of Illinois. Ryan used his status as a reservist to put himself through college, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing. During his tour in Afghanistan, he was severely injured and was forced into an early medical (under honorable conditions) retirement from the Marines. He went through a very long stretch of physical therapy and rehabilitation, where Ryan learned that sustaining physical fitness was the best way to keep his body healthy.

Outside of fitness, Ryan is an avid football fan! He loves music, spending time with friends and family, going on golf cart rides around the neighborhood, and traveling to the “Happiest Place on Earth” – Disney World!! Ryan loves helping people of all walks of life and stages of their physical fitness journey. Seeing someone accomplish their goals is something that he takes very personally, and very seriously.

" 'Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.' - Ronald Reagan "
